Harley Davidson motorcycles have been treading roads all over the world for more than a century now. With their more than a hundred year old experience, it is not difficult to believe that Harley Davidson motorcycles produce the most expensive motorcycles nowadays. It was in 1903 when the very first Harley Davidson motorcycle was produced and ever since that time, they had been the leader in the big bike market.
Focused on solely producing motorcycles, Harley Davidson motorcycles have been the motorcycle industry’s looked upon innovator. They continuously developed different kinds of motorcycle belts that allow riders to have more smooth rides. They also advanced into using twin engines to provide more power to their riders. A Harley Davidson model was manufactured using an engine designed for a Porsche. That is really a lot of motor power for bike.
Prominent for making big bikes and racing motorcycles, Harley Davidson motorcycles had once attempted to penetrate the market for small bikes. The company has realized that there is also a great demand for small bikes or scooter. It was in 1963 when Harley Davidson motorcycles manufactured their one and only scooter named Topper. They were unsuccessful in the small bike market due to the dawn of inexpensive Japanese small bikes consuming this side of the motorcycle market.
Despite this minor failure, Harley Davidson motorcycles continued expanding and developing its technology for powerful motorcycles now and in the future.
